The way you use the addon is by exporting a .dsp file from Distortionator.
When including it in your project, it will be imported just like any other scene (.tscn).
You can then use the imported bbg anywhere.
Remember you can always look for examples in the Mother Encore Demo, which uses this plugin.

and i can't activate the plugin, it tells me this
Could not load addon script from path: 'res://addons/distortionator_integration/plugin.gd'. It may be due to a code error in said script. Disabling the addon in 'res://addons/distortionator_integration/plugin.cfg' to prevent new errors.
another thing is that godot tells me to change the preload to aload
